We as an architecture student should not be blind by the Western architecture but always remember to keep the same position for Asian architecture. As Asian fits our climate and tropical more, also it's exactly where we live. This module ensures us to keep the core moral value in mind.

Traditional Street
The construction of place identity is influenced by socio-cultural, economic, and political factors over a particular period of time. This project proposes a way to read the "lexicons" of traditional streets through their tangible architectural and spatial qualities, as well as their intangible socio-cultural attributes.

Poster and Seminar-Contemporary Issues in Asian Architecture
The project is research-driven, requiring student to conduct critical interpretations on the salient issues observed from their site visit. Using the problem-based learning approach, an appraisal framework is developed within the specified scope through weekly facilitated group discussion guided by tutors.
