Construction Detailing of Building Elements
Our second assignment is a group assignment of 7. We are required to find a cornered lot as referrence and redesign the house with fully concrete. In this assignment we are required to draw floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plan, roof to floor section and details for door, window and staircase.
We are assigned to work with 3 sem 1 Interior Architecture student. My part for this assignment is roof to floor section and roof plan.

Reflection of Mine
Regrading to the TGC, I found 'Communication Skills' .
When it comes to teamwork, of course communication skills stands a great character. However, sometimes no matter how hard we tried on the communication skills, we still tend to fail it. I personally think, IA sem one students might not suitable to take this module. This module requires a lot of technical drawing and detail to take care. Even we Archi Sem 2 student found it hard to tackle. Not to mention the sem 1 babies.
I understand that module coordinator might hoping us to help each other and grow together. But, this really isn't the way it works. Most of the time we archi student have to carry all the workload on our shoulder. Not just to guide them with all patient but also need to be careful with words as we do not know how harsh can they take. While we archi are used to take with harsh and critical comments.
I hope there are adjustment for the coming batch, or else they will go through the same torture as us.
